Welcome! I’m glad you’ve stopped by.
I invite to you visit a number of the pages here. You will find that I’m involved with a lot of different things:
I’m a singer/songwriter/recording artist for one thing. (See Musician page.)
I also am a musical keynoter (Know what that is?) and a motivational/spiritual speaker. I often teach workshops on a variety of topics. (See Speaker page.)
I also teach workshops for teachers, am an artist in residence for schools, present school assemblies and concerts, and have written a book for teachers on how to integrate music with their curriculum to boost motivation and to help make learning permanent. (See Educator page.)
For more information than you probably care to read about my life, check out The Bio page. The other pages are pretty self-explanatory.
For some personal thoughts and messages- please see below. Thanks again for stopping by.

I’ve been thinking. . .
These are rough times for optimists - soaring gas prices, devastating hurricanes, senseless war. Still, I believe that our lives are more a reflection of how we respond to events rather than the events themselves. I’m looking for the things we will learn as a species in these challenging times. We have the opportunity to evolve or to fall back.
R. Buckminster Fuller taught us years ago that we must find ways to make all of the world’s resources work for all the world’s people. It’s time that we took his words to heart. I don’t think other countries would be as resentful of the United States if we were more concerned about them, not for what we can get from our alliances, but because we are all in this together. We are on Spaceship Earth.
It’s not rocket science, and I am no great political figure,, but I know this: War will end when people are no longer hungry, illiterate, sick, and/or afraid. If we put our resources into solving those problems around the globe, we wouldn’t need to send our young men and women away to kill or be killed.
It’s simple. It’s perfect. It’s peace.
What can one person do to make a difference? Please listen to my song, the “Peace Canon”. I’m on a mission to have the song played on the radio, performed live, or played in conjunction with some gathering in every state in the USA. We have quite a few states already. Maybe you can help us. If you play the song in your state, please let me know. We’ll be so excited to hear from you! I’m just one person - but writing this song and getting it out into the world is one thing I can do - with your help.
Here it is. Enjoy. To hear the song, click on Peace Canon
Peace Canon by Pamela Chappell
One person at a time, one person at a time, We can build a world of peace one person at a time. I can’t change the whole world wide, But I can change the world inside, And so we start, from heart to heart, one person at a time. And so we start, from heart to heart, one person at a time.
We must be the change we want to see in the world* We must be the change we want to see. Wherever you go, whatever you seek, Whatever you do each day of the week, Simple as rain, perfect and plain, Let your life speak. Simple as rain, perfect and plain, Let your life speak.
Let your life speak**. Let your life speak. Let the love come pouring out of you, Every day of the week. Let your voice ring. Let your heart sing. It’s simple, it’s perfect, it’s peace. It’s simple, it’s perfect, it’s peace.
